Looking to give a gift for about 200$ to a girl turning two. Already gave an American girl doll.
Needs to be returnable and preferrably come from a nice store as well...

Any ideas?

Does she play with the American girl doll? The accessory sets are pretty pricey. Many options, but only worth it if she enjoys the doll.

Honestly, a child that age would probably appreciate going for pizza and ice cream or to the zoo with you/ or their parents more than a $200 gift. Can you give an experience gift instead?

A 2 year old has an American girl doll??
If you want a nicer gift, a wooden kitchen center or a big doll house. Maybe a good bike?

Sorry have to go anon these are just so me
Not sure about how returnable these are, maybe if you buy from Amazon, but some amazing large ticket items that grow with the child:
Grimms rainbow or anything Grimms (that company specifically)
Schleich animals - a huge assortment plus a barn maybe.
Gonge hill tops (not the river stones)
Wobbel board
Magna tiles
Membership to museum

Something from Tiffany like a bank.

It's small and impressive.

IMHO, there’s absolutely nothing “impressive” about wanting to waste $200 on a work colleague’s child. I would not be impressed if a work colleague did that for one of my DCs. I might be concerned about their priorities in life though. I don’t see how a two-year old must “need” an “impressive gift” at all.

She didn't ask for opinions, we know nothing about her relationship with this colleague.
I second the accesories for AG doll if she likes the doll.
Do they have room for a play kitchen? Based on my experience, that is worth the money (mine was second hand, but you get the idea.)
Or a really nice boxed book collection like Dr. Suess, Elephant and Piggie, etc. Anything boxed is nice.

1. Haba Doll Pram for the AG doll (they are fantastic quality and can also be a decorative item in a child's bedroom): https://www.amazon.com/HABA-Do.....GQ34D or https://www.amazon.com/HABA-Do.....H49E4 or a Moover Pram https://www.amazon.com/Moover%.....H49E4

2. Mini Grand Piano: M&D makes one https://www.amazon.com/Melissa.....piano or HAPE https://www.amazon.com/Hape-De.....+HAPE

3. Interactive play center: There are so many. Mellissa and Doug and HAPE have a few varieties to chose from. So does Crate and Barrel, or similar stores.

4. Rocking Horse.

5. Micro Mini Scooter with a Helmet: https://www.microkickboard.com.....ooter

6. Adora Doll: The 20 inch dolls are so beautiful and wear actual infant clothing - https://www.adoraplay.com/coll.....dolls

7. M&D Giraffe for decoration (This is a popular baby shower gift though, so she may already have it).

Thank u so much for taking the time! Do u have any specific links for an interactive play center?

I was also thinking maybe a kiddie tablet but the ones I saw online was cheaper...

To the nasty amother above- the kid doesn’t ‘need’ anything. I ‘need’ to give this person a substantial enough gift to spread goodwill, this is a company decided budget.

M&D Sweet Food Cart (this comes with all of the food): https://www.amazon.com/Melissa.....+cart

M&D Diner (has a kitchen on one side and a table on the other): https://www.amazon.com/Melissa.....diner

HAPE Kitchen (you can also purchase some of the sections separately like just a fridge, sink, etc.): https://www.amazon.com/Hape-Ki.....tchen

M&D and HAPE have some others which are available on their website (and can probably also be purchased from amazon too) www.melissaanddoug.com or www.hape.com/

Pottery Barn Kitchens: https://www.potterybarnkids.co.....0.106

M&D Also has a wonderful Victorian Dollhouse (but I do think 2 is a little too young for that): https://www.amazon.com/Melissa.....house

Kiddie tablet is a fantastic idea -

Here’s one around budget you were looking for

Fire HD 10 Kids Edition Tablet, 10.1" 1080p Full HD Display, 32 GB, Blue Kid-Proof Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079.....6C8MN

Check out the gifts at pottery barn kids. There are some really lovely high end gifts there

For example this dollhouse designed by Monique Lhuillier

https://www.potterybarnkids.co.....ouse/

There are other super classy and high end dollhouses and dolls as well
https://www.potterybarnkids.co.....ol12/

https://www.potterybarnkids.co.....ouse/

Or This easel and include some high end art supplies as well

What about 14k gold earrings? They're pretty pricey these days. Or the kiddie tablet is a good one too.
