Looking to give a gift for about 200$ to a girl turning two. Already gave an American girl doll.
Needs to be returnable and preferrably come from a nice store as well...
Any ideas?

Does she play with the American girl doll? The accessory sets are pretty pricey. Many options, but only worth it if she enjoys the doll.

Honestly, a child that age would probably appreciate going for pizza and ice cream or to the zoo with you/ or their parents more than a $200 gift. Can you give an experience gift instead?

A 2 year old has an American girl doll??
If you want a nicer gift, a wooden kitchen center or a big doll house. Maybe a good bike?

Sorry have to go anon these are just so me
Not sure about how returnable these are, maybe if you buy from Amazon, but some amazing large ticket items that grow with the child:
Grimms rainbow or anything Grimms (that company specifically)
Schleich animals - a huge assortment plus a barn maybe.
Gonge hill tops (not the river stones)
Wobbel board
Magna tiles
Membership to museum

Something from Tiffany like a bank.
It's small and impressive.

IMHO, there’s absolutely nothing “impressive” about wanting to waste $200 on a work colleague’s child. I would not be impressed if a work colleague did that for one of my DCs. I might be concerned about their priorities in life though. I don’t see how a two-year old must “need” an “impressive gift” at all.

She didn't ask for opinions, we know nothing about her relationship with this colleague.
I second the accesories for AG doll if she likes the doll.
Do they have room for a play kitchen? Based on my experience, that is worth the money (mine was second hand, but you get the idea.)
Or a really nice boxed book collection like Dr. Suess, Elephant and Piggie, etc. Anything boxed is nice.

Thank u so much for taking the time! Do u have any specific links for an interactive play center?
I was also thinking maybe a kiddie tablet but the ones I saw online was cheaper...
To the nasty amother above- the kid doesn’t ‘need’ anything. I ‘need’ to give this person a substantial enough gift to spread goodwill, this is a company decided budget.

What about 14k gold earrings? They're pretty pricey these days. Or the kiddie tablet is a good one too.
