Thanks everyone. She ended up coming over just before zman and stayed until Shabbos morning. She brought along some of her younger siblings for a little while and a friend came on Shabbos afternoon. She checked on them regularly and stayed until we got home on motzei shabbos. I gave her $150. My kids were happy and it was totally worth the peace of mind!
