I loved Woman in Gold. I found it extremely moving and much better than I expected.
I'm not sure if you would find The Untouchables clean enough.
Dunkirk was awful, more boring than watching paint dry.

The Woman's Balcony (Israeli movie) was amazing.
I also enjoyed Ethel and Ernest.

I don’t know about in the US but in the UK Shtisel has just come on Netflix - I would think that should be fine for him to watch. It’s great.

Designated Survivor show - very clean and action packed. Great show for a teenage boy

Everybody has different tastes Very Happy
I thought Dunkirk was heart stoppingly tense...and that Women in the Balcony was kind of silly, lol.
In any case, I think an 18 year old boy would probably like more of an historical and/or action type movie. But YMMV.

What about captain Phillips?
It’s based on a real story, as far as I remember there is no nudity/relations/love concepts. It’s an action movie and there is some violence, but I think it was ok according to the context.

Amother vermilion, I hope you get how stupid you sound. Let an 18 year old boy watch a movie and tell him to TURN AROUND when there's women???? You gotta be kidding!

If he is interested in science and history, The Heavy Water War was amazing. My ds and I saw it when he was younger than 18. This is a 6 part miniseries as opposed to a movie about the race to sabotage the Nazis' effort to build a nuclear bomb.

That’s irrelevant. Watching it makes it become ingrained in the mind.

The women in it are barely wearing anything. Think circus attire.

Can you point me in the direction of a study that says this is true?

Clean? for an eighteen year old boy?
I only saw part of the trailer and I was uncomfortable. I guess I'm extra sensitive.

I absolutely second The Great Escape! No women (though I think that's a ridiculous stipulation in general, I'll be honest), amazing plot- funny and gutwrenching in turns.

My pretty shtark kid brother's favorite movie is Stalag 17, which also only has male characters but does have very brief themes that some might find inappropriate (a character is in love with an actress and another character dresses up as her, they try to peek through a telescope to the women's showers though it doesn't show anything). But it's hilarious and a classic.

Has he never watched a movie before? What kinds of media has he been exposed to in his life? Something I'd consider clean would probably not pass muster if he's been very sheltered and never seen a movie before.
