Hi, for all those young families that moved from Brooklyn to Tom's River or Jackson in the past year or two, are you happy there? Any regrets? How does life there compare to Brooklyn life? Did schooling work out?

What area? How does your community deal with shuls, eruv, bussing etc. Also how old are your kids?

What’s so great about it?
You’re referring to your big house?

There are 8-10 full Shuls, another few that are only for Friday night. 95% of the Frum populated areas are within the Eruv (of someone buys a house outside the Eruv, that's their decision - like buying a house outside of Boro Park)

We hired a driver for carpool - the town gives $$ which covers most of our cost.

My kids are 10, 7, 4 and 1.

Quality of life.

The big house is nice, too.

(Especially since we purchased it for less than we sold our Brooklyn condo for - and we do not go to the Catskills anymore)

Just hope that u don’t have any special needs kids. It gets complicated and very expensive to fight to be placed in a Lakewood special ed school.
