Going to Miami for the first time - it will be just me and my husband. We are staying at the Grand Beach hotel (4835 Collins Ave), and would really appreciate recommendations for:

- restaurants nearby (up to 20 minutes drive)
- a kosher grocery store nearby
- activities nearby (or anything really nice that we shouldn't miss out on - e.g. boardwalk, etc.)

Thank you in advance!

The grocery is on 42nd street on the other side of Collins over the bridge and down a half a block. It's a 10 minute beautiful walk. There are two milchig places there (beware one of them opens really late) and a pizza shop and Tower 41 for fleishigs. Personally I'd drive over to Surfside or North Miami for delicious food in Harbor Grill or other places.

Probably a typo, the kosher stores and restaurants are on 41 street. For fleshig there are also Carlos and Gabby's, pita hut, grill house, and China beach on 41 street. There's also bagel time at the end, on Alton Rd and 41. Surfside is within a 20 minute drive with additional restaurant options.

Thank you for the replies! Do you know the name of the kosher grocery?
And, any specific recommendations for restaurants in surfside?

There are two kosher groceries on 41 St, kosher price and kastners.

26 is amazing in Surfside, but it depends on your style. People like Harbour Grill and Backyard BBQ.
