Hi
Been looking through past sheital threads and see they dont get so many replies so any response is much appreciated!

Has anyone got any experience with Gali Couture Wigs?

If you have one, How long has it lasted so far?
How do they compare to milano for example?
How much did it cost? Are you happy with it?

Specifically long dark brown hair.

Also, seperately, what is better in terms of looks and upkeep: baby hairs or lace front? What is an open lace front?

my sil got a gali as a kallah 5 yrs ago, returned it a few months later. thank goodness she stood behind it. great service and shaitel looked gorg but after a few months - was horrible. guess it was a bad piece so don't take my word for it

I have a Miri now. Have had it for 2 years and still loving it.
Looking now for a bandfall and I saw there was a Gali sale!
The main thing for me is good customer service.
I don’t mind if the Hair feels rough or isn’t so shiny! I need it to be comfy and lightweight and look good! And if there’s any issues that someone sorts it out!!

I have a Gali. I got it 2 years ago. It was a lace front but it was cheaply made(the lace part) so it didn’t lay well on my head. I had to pull it out and put in baby hairs, and do some more work on it. Once it was wearable it’s beautiful. I love it as it’s very natural, comfortable and easy. It’s probably not the longest lasting wig but it’s works and serves it’s purpose. I know when I got mine they were having a big sale bec they we’re selling all their wigs and starting with a new manufacturer. So don’t know if that changed anything...

In general lace front probably looks better than baby hair but it’s much harder to upkeep and you have to be very gentle with it and get it done more often. I have a few baby hair wigs and love them. I don’t like pulling out all the baby hair but rather push some to the side and it gives it a natural look.

No she isnt. Wunderwig is owned by Yonit. Galis has their own name. Yonit worked too hard to revolutionize ponytail wigs for people tk use the name as generic.

How much are they going for? With sheitels, you get what you pay for. It’s hard to say how good it is - are you comparing to a 4 k wig? 8 k wig? Or if it’s 1 k, you need to adjust your expectations accordingly.

When I was shopping last year as a new kallah the prices quoted were like 3.5 k and up for processed hair that wasn’t any different than say Irene’s which is much less expensive

I have a Gali wig that I bought at a sale about 6 years ago. It is still doing its job although I have others that I like better. I think it was the right quality for a cheaper end wig. Not amazing but nothing to really complain about.
