Dd7 is becoming impossible to deal with. She has zero emotional regulation, is extremely self-centered, constantly insulting and hurting everyone around her. And she has major tantrums, throwing things like shoes and books and knocking over furniture. I sent her to a psychologist last year but even though she learned tons of coping strategies, she refused to use them when necessary. I think at this point I need someone who can work with just me and my husband and guide us in how to deal with her. Does anyone like that exist?

She was really unhelpful. Just didn't get the picture. Told me dd was fine when she clearly wasn't. I have other kids so I know what "normal" should look like.

Rachel Schmidt in Flatbush. Have used her, and she’s excellent at guiding parents in dealing with their kids. She’s very expensive though.

Levi yitzchok albert is an adhd coach that deals with this and specifically guiding parents
he's in Israel but also works by phone

Its great if you can find a therapist to have one weekly session with you your child and therapist and one private session to review and to get tips and discuss concerns. (We are doing that now with a dir/floortime therapist but many play therapists do that as well) much more effective than either going yourself for tips or sending a child themselves
