So my daughter is going to be a princess and my son a firefighter.
Is there anyway my husband and I (and the baby) can dress up in a way that ties together the ideas into some sort of (loose) theme?
Thanks

the baby can be a fire-breathing dragon and the firefighter can put out the fire The dragon is attacking the castle where the princess lives and knights can come and save the day!
(I read too many fairy tales )

It's a classic Purim theme! Your husband should be a king, you be a nurse, and the baby be a dalmation.
Or else go by color: Girl is pink, boy is yellow (or red), have your husband be a police officer (blue), you be a nurse (green), and have baby be a bunch of grapes (purple).
Or you can do a Shalom Bayis theme - you be a queen, DH will be a police officer, and the baby will be half king half paramedic. You can give out Shalom Bayis challah (braid together a whole wheat, a white, and another recipe), and half and half.
Or you can be a queen, DH a king, and the baby a cellphone calling 911.

Maybe she is Repunzel & if it would happen today to the rescue would come the firefighter when 911 was called to bring their huge ladder to get her out of the tower, but than she wouldn't marry her savior
