I am coming to Monsey for Shabbos and then going on to BP for several days next week. I am in the middle of packing up my kids stuff:)
Do they need boots? Or will the sidewalks be dry? We will be getting around by car but will need to walk on Shabbos.
Thanks!

Thanks! I checked the forecast before I posted. It doesn't tell me if the current ground conditions are dry or not. Is there snow/ice on the sidewalks?
Thanks again!

My point is that it keeps changing. Yesterday it was very cold and snowed all day long. Today it's mild and sunny and the streets are slushy and trees are dripping water.
Every day over the next week, the weather will be changing too, according to the forecast.

If you have waterproof shoes, that should be enough for this week as there is some rain expected too, besides for the puddles and piles of slush today.

It's very sunny today, the sidewalks and roads are pretty dry.
