Anyone go to Lake George in the end of August? I am thinking of going and my husband is an avel and needs to daven for the amud. Is there alot of frum people at that time and a possibility? I know places we went in the past had alot of frum people that time of year and wouldn’t be a problem. Anyone that went I would appreciate your input. Thanks!

I've gone then and there was the Chabad Rabbi from Saratoga Springs that had a tent set up during the summer for minyanim. But it was about a half hour away from Lake George if I recall correctly

There's no way to know now if there will be a minyan in August.

They will definitely have a minyan there during the 3-week bein hazmanim period from after Tisha b'Av until the start of Elul, which this year covers most of August. As long as you go during that time, you shouldn't have any problems, though you can always contact them if you have any questions or concerns. When we went a few years ago, the minyan was in the heart of Lake George, a few minutes from our hotel. More info here: http://www.saratogachabad.com/.....html.
