I followed instructions on the box to a t, only using margarine instead of butter. it came out hard. has anyone twicked the recipe to make it soft and chewy? it looks to me like it needs less cereal and more marshmallows

no, it hardened almost immediately even as I was mixing it

The recipe on the box doesn’t come out well with kosher marshmallows because they don’t melt.

You have to use marshmallow fluff. I use the Kraft brand because its sooooo fluffy
