Worried mom here. What could this be? Baby is 15 months, significantly developmentally delayed, rib cage sticks out, tiny waist, it's getting more pronounced, I'm searching for answers, obviously pediatrician is involved. He looks like he's starving, but just in his stomach and ribs which stick out like they're too wide for his body and his waist is so small that his diapers need to be wrapped very tightly and they're still too loose, but the rest of him is pudgy, and he makes normal diapers and he's a good eater. What in the world could this be? He's otherwise in good health physically, delays are cognitive and speech.

Call ECHO or Shuky Berman or another organization for a referral. You need a specialist. Maybe a developmental pediatrician.
