I am making a kiddush for my baby girl this shabbos iyh. My neighbors and siblings will be sending cakes/cookies/candy platters. I got tablecloths, clear plastic plates and cups, plastic forks, and pink napkins. What else do I need to buy? It’s just for ladies in my house. Men are in the shul and being catered

Maybe you can order or somebody send salad and cut up fruit/fruit platter?

Good idea, a neighbor makes fruit platters and said she will send one. Not sure about salad...is it necessary?

What do I do with all the cake and cookies people send? Do I put it out on matching plates or leave in the dishes they send it in?

Whatever you decide and prefer, I'm sure it will be nice either way. Mazal Yov and don't work too hard you need to take it easy!

Thank you! I am taking it easy if it were up to me I’d be making much more, but I know from past experience I’ll pay the price if I do!!
