btw I bought something that wasn't prime and was counterfeit and they still offered me a credit for it.

I know someone who sells authentic high end designer sun glasses and sometimes customers accuse him that the item they received is counterfeit, which reflect on this seller's feedback. Amazon nearly shut down this person's seller account..
Sometimes what we think is fake, really isn't.
