I just made a necklace with purple lepidolite. I really should have waited to order purple thread but I couldn't wait, and used white silk.
It doesn't look bad, but now I'm thinking - what if I dip it in hot grape juice? Or maybe grape juice mixed with pomegranate, because grape juice on fabric is kind of bluish.
It's not going to get washed so I'm not all that worried about color fastness (although I wouldn't want the color rubbing off on my neck or on a light colored shirt).
Anyone have experience?
