Someone just asked me the following and I found it to be so deep and insightful I wanted to share it with you.
If you were to wake up tomorrow with only the things you thanked Hashem for today, what would you have?
It made me aware that I don't thank Hashem enough for all the good in my life!!!

Thanks for bringing this up!
I saw this as a quote in a puzzle ad a few years ago (on the puzzle). It said something like "imagine only having tomorrow what you were grateful for today."
Really mind blowing if you take a minute to think about it.

I discussed this with my young kids today, and started a Discussion about what we need to appreciate. I hope it will be one of many.

Such a good idea!
I loved your op and shares it with my dh.
My oldest is mature enough to really understand this concept and enjoy finding all the good things we have.
As is, we go thru every night at bedtime the best parts of our day and she loves it.

That's on a magnet in my home! My high school sent out a magnet with that quote on it. It has become a topic of discussion in my home with our guests.

definitely a deep thought ... hopefully ~ especially as jews saying modeh ani first thing in the morning ... we thank Hashem for life & without life what would we have ... nada
recently I heard a talk where it was pointed out that proper grammer would be so say "אני מודה ~ I thank" ... however we do not want to wake up egotistical and have the first thing come our of our mouth "I" ... instead we say "THANKS"
may we all be zoche to realize each thing we have comes from Hashem with brochos ... food, shelter, clothing, even tampons, etc.
