The last few years I sent with minchas Shlomo boxes to Israel. They chg $18 a box, I usually sent about 5 boxes at a time, sometimes even more. My family members were so happy with the clothes I got for them. They opened the boxes only when all 8 siblings were in yerushalaim so they can devide the stuff.... By now I have quite a few people who send me their discarded clothing and I select whatever I think will be appreciated. The last 2 times I sent they lost me one box. I'm now looking for a different method of sending used clothing to Israel. Anyone??

what's minchas shlomo? I've never heard of them before. I live in Israel and often have friends send us used clothing. we usually pay the money for an extra suitcase, but if there's a way to do it for cheaper I'd love to know!

I heard about a weissberger that also does this. Google doesnt tell me anything about it. Does anyone have any info??

Can someone update? Do people use minchias shlomo? Is there a shipment pre pesach? Does any organization do this from Monsey?
