I love using mason jars to serve and store food
I think it makes a nice presentation
The problem is extremely annoying to get to keilim mikva and the tops tend to rust
Anyone has a hack

You can buy non-metal tops of various kinds online.

Ask a shaila because there are different options about this.
Some say that you need to toivel if you'll be using for MM.
Others say you cannot toivel for somebody else.
Some say ok to use once as is and write not toiveled.
Others say toivel and then tell people that they need to toivel.

I gave sholoch manos last year in them and tioveled it first. I then put them all in my dish washer to clean before using it. Didn’t rust at all.
