Dd likes to get up early to take care of her hair since her curls take a while to dry properly.
What sort of alarm clock can she get that will wake her but not the others in the bunk house?

Get her a watch with a vibrating alarm

One that has a vibrating feature. It has a special piece you put under your pillow or mattress and it vibrates to walk you up.
I had one as a kid that had sound and a vibrating attachment, as I was a deep sleeper, but you could turn off the sound.

If she's not a heavy sleeper, she could get a vibrating one and keep it under her pillow.

That's the type I was going to recommend. Great for deep sleepers too, the vibration is very strong.
