Any ideas for a last minute costume I can Diy hopefully by just by stuff I have around or at the dollar store?
He’s 1.5 years old, chunky (and adorable) and is a blonde.
Any inspiration for me?

I found at the dollar store:

Chef hat and apron, plus baking tools

Little gold sparkly hats (wear blue jumpsuit and print a Bartenura label large so he can go as a bottle of wine)

Buy a large gold gift bag and cut out a crown. I added some gemstones from the craft aisle. I once made an adorable king's mantle with a black garbage bag and red streamers, cut out holes for arms and head, tape on streamers as edging to look like a V opening.

I saw a really cute jelly bean costume, made by taping large construction paper jelly beans to a white trash bag.

For this age though I usually just do Mordechai or Queen Esther, Shabbos clothes and a crown.

Any stained clothing? Put splashes of paint all over, add a cap, and he's a painter.

Traffic light.
You'll need:
Felt paper, 3 black and one each of yellow, green and red.
Velcro
Glue the circles unto 2 black felt, the third black felt you cut into stripes 2 for shoulders, and 4 for sides, you velcro the sides. You can assemble it with glue gun.

Fireman with black garbage bag & yellow tape. Fire hat.
From an old pillow case cut hole for head & arms & you can create anything. Dot paint it & clown hat.
Attach feathers to it & can be a bird/chicken.
Black top hat & tuxedo magician.
If you cut holes for arms & head in a box you can create a gift box. A box of popcorn. Stick popcorn to paper bag with holes for mask. Robot. Lego man.
You can put him into large paper bag & cutting holes for arms head or feet & he can be a mishloach manos.
Denim overalls plaid shirt add a straw hat a farmer. Add a cowboy hat, he's a cowboy. Add a yellow hard hat he's a builder, he can even be Bob the builder.
Really anything go to the dollar store & see
what you find if you find a hat, or if you find doggy fuzzy slippers, or a bowtie or a neck tie or some glasses or some scarf or bandana kerchief or a character backpack whatever you find.
Even an emoji mask whatever, emoji stickers you can stick onto a black tshirt...
