One woman gave me a basket she wove herself, with a nice wine, cookies, challah, dips, and fish in bean sauce. She told me she makes one mm every year, and puts a lot of effort into it, and this year, we were the lucky recipients!

Another family we're close to brought us the products of their vegetable patch, eggs from their chickens, and a bottle of their olive oil. It was a very special gift.

Rappel, do you live out in the boondocks? Such nice, non-typical mashloach manos!

Most of our neighbors and friends have some form of real food, so we had a lovely lunch of chicken wontons, franks in blankets, chicken poppers, and kugel with meat. Top it off with a few cookies for dessert and we were set.
All the real food was so nice. No one sent a ton, but it was perfect!

The most expensive one I received was the least classy. The classiest was a bottle of wine with a beautiful cork opener.

A meat board with a bottle of mustard, sharp knife (which they already toiveled) and a large piece of tongue, already cooked and vacuum packed.
I sliced it and put into a pan with water to serve for Friday night Seuda
