my father who is 90 years old now used to dress up as Eliyahu Hanavi

he would sneak out of the house and when it was time to open the door for Eliyahu Hanavi

he would walk in .

I once went to a chabad seder where they gave out a doll and asked the guest what the
doll was a symbol for ? the answer was baby Mosha

There are so many songs and exciting stories Mitzvos to keep the night of the Seder that in and of itself it is exciting and memorable. Especially children within this age range who are old enough to fully understand and participate.
In my family we would all sing along and act out the songs. Each child has a chance to say what they learned in school. I also give out tickets for each time they say something/ participate or help etc. they then use them to cash it in for a prize after Yom tov.
