Very different in taste and texture but whole wheat only shatzer. Dislike most other matzah.

Other years Ive heard people say that the Kiryas Yoel Matza is very good and very thin, and there are 3 bakeries (all similar).

Is this true, every year, that theyre very thin and all 3 bakeries are very similar?

Where can they be bought in BP?

I've had their matzah and it is thick and burnt.

I like shatzer. Perfectly thin and crisp.

A tip my mother learned;
If you put the matza in a warm oven for a shot time, it gets really crisp and crunchy. Even thicker matza tastes better.

It's paper thin and the workers have to have skill and work hard. There's demand so price keeps going up but we stopped buying it. Not worth $88 a box.

If anyone does any taste testing for thinness, can they report here please. (I bought a little of each today and I might "taste test" too).

Its not Rosh Chodesh yet, were still allowed to eat Matzah.

At $47 for 10 Matzahs, I think only those with "stock in the company" will buy (money out the window).

There is no second best. Shatzer is thick, Puppa is thick, neither comes even close to Chareidim. But it is not only the thickness, Chareidim has a better taste.

I did taste tests last year of all the brands, but I didnt write it down.

Does anyone remember which are the thinnest Matzahs, that come the closest to Charedim Shmura?

Nothing compares. We didn't like the taste of other matzos that are somewhat thin. We like whole wheat only shatzer matzah. The good news is it doesn't cause as much gas as chareidim. We are fine and don't miss chareidim. Not worth the cost.
