I saw this right before shabbos and I said perek 18-30 at candle lighting. Then later I figured you were probably trying to assign by Yom and not perek. I also said some tehillim for sequoia today. I can take yom 22 if that's what we are up to.

Thank you, I really need your prayers and empathy.

It feels as if no one in the world is compassionate towards me, so this initiative means a lot.

I am thinking of you throughout the day and praying for you.
I am so sorry for what you are going through. It’s so hard to be human sometimes. We are all so vulnerable.
But you are not alone. We are in it with you. Holding your hand across the web.

Praying for health.
Praying for strength.
Praying for support.

And sequoia, refuah sheleimah, from the bottom of my heart. I always enjoy your posts, and feel that I would love to meet you in real life. May Hashem make this journey to restored health as quick and painless for you as possible.

Wait. I just realize that I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Do I say all of Tehillim on day 23 of each month? How long does that take? Hebrew month or English month? What does this have to do with candlelighting? I'm confused.

Tehillim is divided yom lchodesh. A few chapters in every yom lchodesh. Some tehillim you can see how it's divided. We wanted to get entire tehillim said after shabbos candlelighting with everyone taking on one yom lchodesh. We only got to the twenties not 30 people.
I don't know if everyone is continuing to say their assigned chapters today

My Tehillim doesn't have the divisions. Can you point to a website that has the information?

Also, from what you are saying: we are supposed to say our assigned perakim every day. But on Friday evening, we say it right after candelighting? Is that so?

Okay, I found the information on the divisions. Here is the website: http://tehillim-online.com/daily-tehillim.

Do I say them in the morning or in the evening, in general?

I’m happy to take קיט which is 25 and 26. But that would mean someone still needs to take 24.

We originally only divided to say one time after the past candlelighting on Fri night. The organizer can arrange if we continue to say daily

I'll take 24 — that's the Hallel — one of the easier days. And I already took Day 12.

Next up would be Day 27.

OP here.
Thank you all for being part of this.

What do you think, should we do this every day? I'm afraid that it may be too much for some of us to commit to, but it would be so nice if we could do it.

I think that a weekly completion, during candle lighting, is more feasible.

Please chime in, and we can work to this out together.

I think we should stick to saying the tehilim on Shabbos. (Of course we can all say some throughout the week as well!)
I would like to confirm that whoever had undertaken for this past week is ready to extend this into a once-a-week Shabbos commitment?

Also, some of you have undertaken pretty big portions. Please post if you would like to break it up, and then other Imas can take on some of your tejilim.
