goulash:

1 kg beef goulash
1 kg white onion cut up
3 tablespoons sweet paprika powder
salt
majoram
black pepper (ground)
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
garlicpowder (or fresh)
add everything to a crockpot and let cook 7 hours on medium

chicken:

place chicken thighs on baking pan (I like boneless and cut, but any type will work)
marinade with:
orange juice, marmelade, lemon zest, honey, salt, chilli powder, basil and white pepper (I once added lemongrass and ginger- tasted great too).
bake on 160°C for about 40-60min covered and 5 minutes on 220 (top heat only) uncovered- to get a nice shiny colour and the skin crisp.

both recipes freeze well
