Try those layered skirts. They are so cute on little girls. I have put my 2yo in a size 6 skirt (second hand from FF, thanks!).
I just pulled the elastic in the waistband. With a skirt, make sure her shirt either snaps underneath or is tucked into the tights to stay in place.

Thank you so much, everybody, for the suggestions! |
I just went to kidichic today, I got 3/4 sleeves for my turning 3 year old.

I'm also wondering.
This is a huge trigger for me.
I was made to dress like this from a young age.
I have so much resentment and hurt from it.
I don't think a 2 year old would understand, but I just hope they don't make her do weird stuff like this when she's older and does realize, like what was done to me.
Put me through torture and suffering for some made up chumras of theirs.

Peach, I'm so sorry that you were triggered by this. And no, if she's older and has different wishes we will not make her dress according to our "chumras"
We like the look (and after all, don't all mothers dress their two year olds according to their own preferences?) And there are certain chumras that I keep for myself and while she doesn't care, I'll dress her the way I like However, when she gets older, she can make her own choices to follow those or not.
