I just gave the MMR to my 10 month old. She was crabby for a few days. It is also normal for a child to run a fever and get a rash within 14 days of the shot. It is the reaction of the immune system.

Gave at 6 months with a few other shots. Had no reaction.
I know I’m going to have to give it 2 more times now.

My baby has her 9 month checkup in about 10 days and I plan on having her get the MMR then. She usually gets a mild fever and is cranky for 24 hours after her shots

Nephew got it, 10 days later high fever and rash for a week, was at the doctor twice who said it was a "virus". yeah right. sounds like measles to me. Son got it at age 5, 10 days later worst ear infection of his life.

Reaction comes 10 days later.

No. Your body gets rashes when developing immunity... very vig differences between the measles rash and a viral or allergic exanthem
