So far my menu is hamburgers, hot dogs, and grilled chicken; coleslaw and french fries.
Feel like it's so empty without the buns and corn salad. There will be a lot of kids. What other starches/sides can I add? We will probably have brownies and ice cream for dessert.
Eta: I'll probably also make sweet potato/parsnip/ carrot fries for the adults, but a huge tray makes so little when roasted, I don't want to depend on that for a side dish. We don't use quinoa.

thanks

Potato salad. You can also do some grilled vegetables (zucchini, peppers, onions).

Cucumber salad
Beet salald
Potato salad (even with fries)
A regular veggie salad
A variety of cut up fruits
Grilled veggie is a great idea, you can do quite a variety.

Yes. Potato salad is classic picnic/BBQ fare.

Potato salad
Sweet potato wedges
Potato starch crackers and guacamole
Breaded eggplant slices to sandwich the burgers in If you feel like it
Stick the hot dogs on skewers so they don't feel like they're missing anything
Fry sauce
Onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles
Veggie kebabs
Fruit salad

If everybody eats gebrokts then pesach rolls are great with the burgers, stacked with fry sauce and sliced veggies inside. But you don't have to make yourself crazy - there's plenty of variety without it

If you want to patchke you can make potato knishes, but really not necessary.

Come on over!
Thanks for the great ideas everyone!
And here's a somewhat off topic question. I've seen people make grilled veggies on skewers, but wont the wooden skewers burn? Is that a really dumb question?

Soak the skewers before putting the veggies on

If you soak the skewers in water before, it won't burn.

Watermelon.
A big lettuce salad.
Roasted vegetables.

Pesach is very meat heavy, so I'd make sure to balance with fruit and vegetable sides. Sounds yummy...do you have a bbq grill for pesach? Or your just making a bbq style meal inside?

Never knew that about the skewers. Sounds great.
I think we are getting new racks for our grill...not really sure, dh is asking our rav about it. I like the ideas of grilled veggies, fruit salad etc, lighter sides. Yum!
