Hi all,
I am the farthest from a beauty expert.
Daughter had a zit which she popped and it left what looks like a big red scab.
Clearasil or neosporin?
Will covering it with makeup make it worse?
Any advice?

You can get a tinted cream for pimples.

If it gets worse or doesnt clear up in a day or two get to a dermatologist or ENT. Once in a while in the office where I work we see these become badly infected, sometimes with MRSA. Not to be an alarmist but just making you aware.

Apply vitamin E oil from a capsule a few times a day. Make sure to wash face very well with appropriate cleansers in the morning and before bed. It's important to apply the vitamin E oil or other healing ointment right before bed on a clean face for a couple days. That's when the healing happens, at night with no environmental interruptions.

My daughter had what looked like a small pimple on her nose that wasn't going away. I took her to a dermatologist who said it was a broken blood vessel that only laser can take away...

Unfortunately not, but you can try and get a sample at the counter. It is though incredibly effective, I have used it for burns, acne, and bruising. (I'm a bit of klutz), and it was magic.
