Hi. I bake my gefilte fish - minimal spices, an inch of water and thin strips of carrots. My son has been requesting that I make the gefilte fish with carrot inside of it. I tried by cutting a groove into the partially defrosted loaf, sticking in carrot and then covering back up with the piece of fish, but it's messy and doesn't always come out looking good.
Any ideas of how else to do this?
(Also bec I can only put carrot in half the loaf, as some kids won't touch the carrot).

I think you should cook or pre-cook the carrot first, but the idea is right
