I've done it - it comes out perfectly the same. Use the same ingredients and cook on low for a few hours.
(You could have called and asked...)

I do it with a london broil and slice it once cooked.

Thanks inspireme. How long can I cook it for?High or low? Do I have to brown the meat first? Thanks for your response ra_mom, I always get excited when you post in the recipe section. I have pepper steak meat defrosted. Why would you use a london broil instead of pepper steak?

Don't need to brown the meat first...Cook on low for about 6 hours. (Don't blame me if it does not work. It worked for me. It was the only crock pot supper that my family really liked)

And you put the vegetables in at the same time or add in later? Thinking of doing broccoli and baby corn.

I did peppers and onions, but they do get very soft and mushy. If you want some crunch, you would need to add them later

Not if you only cook for 8 hours on low and serve right away. Do it for supper sometimes.
