Purple spot on chopped meat?

I took out a package of meat from the freezer and most of the meat is a nice red color. There is one spot that looks dark like a dark bright purple- is that a problem never seen it before?

Sometimes the outside is red and inside dark brown/purple. Is that what it is?

just wanted to get back- I looked online and the "ink"looked a similar color to the spot I saw so I just went with that and the the meat was yummy Smile
