Hi all,

I'm looking to go to a kosher hotel or cottage for a shabbos in May. Looking in the NY, NJ, CT area, preferably an hour or so away from Brooklyn. I'm open to different options so either bringing all the food or having meals served, I just need minyanim and preferably a men's mikvah. Does anyone have suggestions?

There's a group online that you can follow when there is a sefer torah, at which hotel.

I would go the hotel also but the davening is very late shabbos morning and we need something earlier.

You can check ReserveKosher and also HotelsNearShuls.com but the problem will be 1 hour from Brooklyn doesn't get you very far (on a Friday in the summer it won't even get you through the Lincoln Tunnel!).

You could rent an AirBNB in Tannersville, where there's minyan and a men's mikvah, but that's 3 hours from Brooklyn. Options in the Catskills will be 2.5 hours. Poconos options are also 2-2.5. Maybe look into LakewoodHosts.com or find something in Monsey.

Scranton for sure, and you can check with Chabad of Abington to see if they get a minyan each week (or know of any other options in the area - the Rabbi is extremely friendly and helpful).

They daven very late. Other groups go so you can do with a different group and daven with them instead
Most of the amenities on the page are not available.
There was a men Mikva
We went and had the most relaxing Shabbos ever.
