It's hot, humidid and rainy. But not an all day kind of rain, more like one big rain each day (usually afternoon).

Yes. Once. It's suicidal.

Yeah. That bad. I live here. Trust me. There are only 2 places to be in July. Indoors with really good a/c or in the pool.

I haven't been there in July. But we were once invited there on an all-expenses paid trip in July, and after looking into the weather, DH decided it wasn't worth it even for free and passed.

I am not able to go during the year and I would love to bring my kids to the theme parks.
If it were the only time to go, would it still be worth not going?

I've gone in June but it was extremely hot. I have not gone with kids. Our villa had a private pool so we would jump in the moment we got back. Some days we just chilled by the pool and didn't go anywhere..beware of getting nasty sunburns as well

Not only is it scorching hot, it’s packed as well. Look into going towards the end of August where the south started school already and its not thaaaaat hot anymore.

August can be even worse and hurricane season is strong right then. The summer in south Florida is brutal. If you decide to do it anyway, please take precautions against sunstroke and dehydration.

I've been in Miami, (which is drop cooler near the beaches) and would never go again in summer. It's so easy to get sick from the heat.
Dh got a sunburn and had raging fever all night long.
You don't realize just how much stronger the sun is, how fast you can burn and dehydrate.
