I live OOT. Within the next few months my sister-in-law will be getting married and I will be making my first bar mitzvah.
I'd like to come to an "in-town" location for a day to find
- a gown for myself
- a gown for DD (15 y/o)
- outfit or 2 for myself for son's bar mitzvah
I assume that either Brooklyn or Lakewood are the places to go to. I am open to either rent or buy for the wedding, and buy for the bar mitzvah.
Any suggestions about specific stores/gemachs/rentals?
Obviously, I'd love be minimize outrageous spending, but I'm willing to spend to just get this done and behind me.
Any specific times/dates that are best to find what I'm looking for?
