My daughter refuses to go to camp or day camp and wants to work as an assistant counselor. It’s not about making money as it is having a job that is part of a day camp and maybe go on trips. Most day camps have a teen program for her age so they won’t hire her. Any body know maybe smaller day camps we can try or any other ideas? Maybe a playgroup or mother’s helper in a day camp?

I have the same issue with my 13yo. If you hear of anything, let me know! She's happy to volunteer and hopefully get tips.

Mesores only has day camp until about age 10. See if they have an assitant position.
