What field makes that much with no degree?

I make about 100k with a professional degree. My husband makes a bit less also with a professional degree. We have to pay a LOT in child care to support our work schedule though so after the difference in taxes we are not walking away with much more than people making significantly less than us.

IT, programming. My dh is in a similar, niche field which I don't want to write here so as not to identify myself.

Just realized my dh has a btl but not related to what he's doing.

Also, some of my friends Dh's are making way over 100,00, none of them have a college degree. Many do not even have a high school diploma.

I live in Jerusalem.

I make over $50K before taxes. No degree.
My husband makes about $30K before taxes. No degree.

Honestly, we struggle. I live frugally and can't afford things that would help tremendously, like cleaning help.

I can't agree more. I just posted that DH earns abt 300k. I look at him sometimes & wonder about his income, why other family members that work just as hard (if not harder) make much less.. but he has a certain nature that I feel is essential to how he's doing in business. Of course e/t is from Hashem...
Plus he bh does work in a lucrative market (Hashem should help it should stay that way..)

What do you think that “certain nature” is?

He is in business. As a general rule, people who make a lot of money have very specific character traits. (I’m talking about people who make money on their own. Not people who have super wealthy parents who set them up in business.) It’s not just a matter of- that job makes money so I’ll take it. Any type of job can make money. Obviously, there is also Mazel involved.

What do you think those character traits are?

I know what those character traits are. The opposite of my DH, lol, who doesn't even open his mouth for a raise or look around for another job....
