From a sibling of a lone soldier - he will want to EAT !! sleep and relax!!! and will probably enjoy being taken out to places that he wouldnt normally go on his own and someone else pay for it! It has probably been a long time since he slept in, lay on a comfortable.bed and ate an abundance of good food! I second the hotel idea for shabbat and then if he is up to it you can go out to eat thursday evening after the ceremony , to the beach/shuk friday afternoon and then a relaxing shabbat in the hotel. I highly doubt he ll want to go on hikes!! Have fun your such a special Mom these visits mean so much to them!! ( Remember to send him back to base with a lot of snacks! )

Thank you so much. He does enough hiking and muscle building in the army....
I know;
Food, food, food, food, sleep,sleep,sleep,food
I just wanted to know where!!
Also is it worth spending the extra money to go to a proper hotel or are there other options...
