Amother Crimson, we do have a bit in Vanguard Mutual Funds and a bit in regular savings account, though not as much as I'd like! Is that what you're referring to?

Yes. A financial planner would help you understand if you have a good amount of low risk investment / savings to suit your needs and comfort level.

Will also help you understand what your needs might be for investments that could be easily be liquidated. Not sure how easy it would be to take a loan against your Israel property if you needed cash.

Not to mention if you're investing for long-term goals or current income (or how much you should put in each)

It's insensitive to come here asking how to invest so much money you are just "getting".
Some women on here work really hard for their money and barely cover expenses.
Be more sensitive please

Oh, please.

If we shied away from any topic that relate to something that someone else might want, but not have, the only thing we could discuss is water consumption. Unless, of course, there are imamothers from Flint, Michigan. In which case that would be out as well.

You don't have to read every topic. If it bothers you, skip it. I'm sure that your topics bother someone else.

IMHO- Real Estate is smart. The money will always be there. If the market is down, you don’t sell at that time.
I would buy an apartment where you are left with as little a mortgage as possible. Zero mortgage would be great.
