I can't stand the feeling of tight waistbands. What brands of tights or stockings have you found to be the least restrictive around your waist? I saw that Heist tights from the UK have lower waistbands as an option but I'm in North American and shipping is $20
I wear socks whenever possible but need tights for the knee length skirts.

I like "Park Ave." Brand stocking, from Weisner's Dry-goods. 718 384 0649 lightweight, good quality, pretty colors.

Which brands do you like? In the past I have found they squeeze the heck out of my thighs, leave marks, and don't even stay up well. Clearly I must not have found a good brand. But I do prefer my thighs to be strangled rather than my waist.
I just found this site called "hipstik" which looks intriguing. But I was hoping for opaque tights in lighter colors, not just black, navy, or charcoal. Like, light brown or camel, for example.

Not sure about colour options, but I live in Me&moi brand tights. They wash well, are soooooo comfy and don't feel tight. They stay up beautifully!

I had a friend in hs who couldn't tolerate the pressure from tights on her stomach. She used to buy maternity tights and wear them all the time 😊😊😊

I’ve been wearing these for years.

They refuse to stay up for me. Maybe they're better for people with fuller legs? They definitely are comfy so it's a real shame.
