Is it a new trend for someone to thank you for the gift you gave them on instagram? They would open the gift and tag you.
I was a bit confused when I saw this. Please give me your input.

Most likely these “gifts” are given from other instagram personalities and are being gifted to an Instagram “influencer” for the sole purpose that they should open them publicly thereby promoting their item.

I am a friend and I don’t have any business. Some of the gifts were from businesses but some of the gifts were from friends.

Is the friend you gave the gift to an 'influencer'? Or trying to become one?
