I'm a big believer in going to the best place possible. The Hospital for Special Surgery on the upper east side is tops for orthopedic issues. Call their main # or go to their website to get a referral. They have some of the best orthopedists in the country. I had an incredible experience there with a family member.
There were people who travelled from all over the world to see the dioctor we saw. Thatt is the place you will most likely find someone who specializes in the issue you're concerned about. Good luck.
