I wish they would knock first and then if no one comes to the door they should ring the bell. I get upset when they just ring the bell first thing, and keep their fingers on it as if we're deaf, and of course it's only at night when the kids were just falling asleep! end of rant, but I think we would work out as neighbors non-the less.

I hear you. Just dont walk in is what I meant... if you knock nicely- I make a mean cup of coffee!

Didn't read the whole thread.
I would say health for myself & dh & parents/siblings who are not toxic.
We take it for granted until we don't have it.
I have neither .

I wish I had enough money for me not to work and still be able to buy extras"" and put away savings for my kids weddings, braces etc...

I wish I had emotional support/respect/valued and love/warmth/caring etc... From those biologically close to me and those related closely.

I wish I can buy regular things like food, new clothing for myself/kids...etc without having to run to different stores to get all the sales. I wish I can buy without thinking twice

I wish for time to focus on my health regarding eating /exercising that I should have enough time and that I can buy a lot of healthier foods...and that my medical syndrome doesn't make it hard for me.

This thread, which is meant to be a lighthearted chat about what people wish for, scares you because you have some of the things people wish for and you also have challenges?
My heart goes out to you for what you are going through, but no one is saying they are envious of your package deal. A nice house doesn't ALWAYS come at the expense of something else in life.
Hashem doesn't ask people "Oh, you want an ensuite bathroom? Ok, you're getting it, but your 5 yr old is going to have learning disabilities. Are you sure you still want it?" and dangle it in front of us.

I am wishing you much strength.

I agree a hundred percent. I know people who have gone through the craziest things that literally make me shudder.
And they still don't have money. Nisyonas don’t work that way.
They say money can’t make you happy, but at least you can be miserable in comfort. (I enjoy entertaining the romantic thought of a 1930’s black and white movie where the woman is draped across her chaise, elegantly sobbing into a handkerchief.)

Second home in Yerushalayim.

Teleport (if we’re really wishing!)

Endless money so that my husband can retire and we won’t have any financial worries.

Private tutors for whatever I want to learn. I’ve aways been interested in vocal lessons. Also dance. Maybe trapeze, too. Ooh, this could be fun!

On-call nanny (or rotation of nannies) who are always available within minutes.

Private pool and hot tub.

Personal chef 24/7 who also organizes my kitchen and does the grocery shopping.

Endless wishes for when I think of more... ;-)

No, I don't take advantage in the least especially since they're rarely home.

My oldest is 7...will be a few years before he can really babysit. I just wish I didn't have to make so many arrangements just to have a night out with my own husband. Sigh....

I wish my DH wasn’t OTD. I wish he believes in god. I wish my partner was frum like me.

I love him very much though. I wouldn’t change him for the world. It’s still very painful though. Crying

I wish I had black out blinds on my window rather than bags to stop the sun from waking me up early.
I wish I could paint the wall where we had a leak.
I wish I could use my tumble drier rather than hang the clothes.
I wish I could shop in a first hand shop rather than charity and gemachim.
I wish we had a second toilet.
