The grass is greener than ever and some mid/end summer trees and flowers/trees here bloomed early! Especially the flowering trees that usually bloom mid summer.....

Let it rain all night.
It says Friday night rain brings bracha.
Let it rain then. Days I need sunshine. My kids were so disappointed to wear coats today. It was 43° and 33° real feel.
We even missed the bus cuz we were waiting inside by the door and the driver thought my kid isn't coming so he passed. (He apologized later) brrrrr.

But isn't this spring? I always associate spring with lots of rain.
I actually enjoy the rain to some extent. I find the sound of it so calming. Sunny days are good because kids love playing outside but I find the rain relaxing as well (plus splashing in puddles is an activity also...).
I should make it clear that I like the rain in warmer weather. I hate winter rain when it's just cold and wet and I'm miserable from it all.

Spring rain is nice! But this hasn't been springy rain. First of all, today was COLD. Real winter coat cold. I wore my short but warm wool jacket and it wasn't enough. Secondly, Spring rain should come in between sunshines. Here we are having days in a row of just gray wet.
Not nice.

Feel free to register a complaint. :-)

Maybe we can start a petition.

Feeling pretty icky these days too.

Well our complaining must be working because the forecast said it should gradually improve now, at least in NY. Tomorrow is supposed to be still gray but only a little rainy some of the time, and by Wednesday it's supposed to be mostly sunny and back to the 60s. That's more like it.

Does anyone else have a particularly bad allergy season?
I never had this! A few of my kids that never had to take a sip of Benedryl have red runny puffy eyes.

This doesn't sound like spring rain.
It's so cold who wants to run in the rain?

I don't mind summer rain. Kids love the puddles. It’s a free sprinkler. So much fun!

Crust, My niece is having a particularly terrible allergy season this time around too.

I do hope the weather clears up.
I think for me the upsetting part is that I expected to enjoy the outdoors more now before I have to deal with a newborn schedule.... also, at this point I figured I'll be able to grill most nights and so I won't have to cook much..... but Hashem had other plans.

Supposed to clear up by Wednesday.

2 of my kids are also on Zyrtec +singular for past 4 weeks , and last year none of them had to be medicated for allergies....
