Should it be considered criminal to intentionally expose your children to the measles at parties? We have laws and exposing kids to measles before the vaccine may have made sense then, but what about today when there is a vaccine available? I'm not talking about forced vaccinations because we cannot force people to vaccinate but can we legally stop people from attending measles parties and call it criminal? Measles can result ch'v in many complications so shouldn't we try to legally prevent this? FTR I dont actually want to see people charged criminally or fined money but want the outbreak to stop and for no one to be sick.

It is a different topic. Yael made a vaccinations forum so that posters can choose to ignore this topic if they please.

Why on earth should it be illegal for a population that is least likely to suffer complications (healthy children) to deliberately get measles, have lifetime immunity that is passed on better to newborns, and be less of a danger than unvaccinated?
This is an advantage - if all those unvaccinated get measles, the outbreak will be OVER!

Re the bolded
A 10 year old boy who was previously healthy, is now permanently brain damaged, due to a direct complication of measles (encephalitis)
The infectious disease specialists were not surprised. They said it was a matter of time before it happened, as it is a well known side effect of measles.
"If all those unvaccinated the outbreak will be over"-and we will be attending a few levayas (1-2 per every thousand) lo aleinu, and dealing with other terrible complications ch"v.
Your logic makes no sense at all.
