Depends on whether or not you want to get there today. A three year old doesn’t need a stroller for strolling, but if you have somewhere to be at a certain time and walking is your mode of transportation, then you either allow plenty of time for the trip or use a stroller. People whose kids are three, two and one, or three, two, one and newborn, aren’t putting the three year old in a stroller.

You’re right but op’s 3 year old is about 7 years old now!
