my child is is currently receiving seit services through the school he's in... they have their own agency. I'm looking into a smaller camp for the summer. Would he be able to get the services if I send him to such a setting? how does this work?
Thanks!

Maybe have therapist come to your home after hours

I had one seit who went to camp with my child, and one who split her time between school and the house.

You can ask the therapist herself if she's willing to come to house. If not maybe agency can send you a different one

AFAIK, home services can only be done if specifically approved by Doe. A Seit should be able to work in whichever day camp your child attends if he is approved for summer services. But check with the day camp and make sure they will allow it.

You can talk to the agency and see if DOE will approve home services. I think a backyard unofficial camp would probably be considered "home."
