Anyone find a good, budget friendly American Girl doll equivalent?
On Ali Express maybe?

It doesn't need to look like an AG – my girls are young enough not to know the difference.
But I want a dressable, movable, 18 inch doll because that's what all the clothes fit.

TIA Smile

I am in Israel BTW so either shippable or in a store here.

My daughter got the New York doll in Yerushalayim
Very similar to AG, with lots of accessories available that you can add to it

My girls have 'our generation' dolls. I'm not sure if they are only available in England though.

I found that the hair gets ruined on all the imitations after a while and you have to just stuff it into a ponytail and not style it anymore.

We have the Our Generation from Target and my daughter's friends have the NY Doll and the NY Doll City Girls.
The City Girls have the best hair, although even that gets coarse and knotty after they play with it for a while.

If you do get Our Generation, don't get the "Hair Play" dolls. the hair turned into a big knot so quickly, we had to cut most of it off.

Thank you for this. My dd would love this. Our generation doll is so much cheaper.
