Does anyone use a bank which has this feature? I know capital one 360 allows it, but that’s not an option for me right now. I really want to be able to divide my money into separate funds.

You mean that you want to use one ATM card and they all have the same account number?

My child has a personal bank account which is a sub account of mine at TD.
Maybe they offer what you are looking for.

Ally bank offers any number of accounts with no fees. They are all linked, so that you can transfer and divide your funds between accounts. The only drawback is that they're online and have no branches. They have great reputation and excellent customer service though... they offer reimbursement for atm fees which u end up using since they're online....

Have 2 separate checking accounts at the same bank and transfer funds back and forth online in seconds. The bank automatically links the accounts together since you are the owner of both. Separate debit cards for each.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I use M&T and I have personal checking/personal saving/credit card/business checking/business savings all linked, under same ownership. I never needed more features for only partially authorized users, but its possible that they have it if that's waht you're looking for.

Thanks everyone! To clarify, what I want to do is have multiple accounts where I keep savings for different things, without having to open multiple accounts. Capital one allows this, I opened one account and then several sub accounts. Anyone else?

I have a credit union that does that, I know my specific one does not exist in NY but I'm sure something similar does.

Capital One 360 / ING Direct (This is the one I use)
Ally Bank
Barclays Online
